We are local and have been building better mattresses in Oregon since 1921. Never looking to make a splash or grab the headlines we have been quietly making premium mattresses for the last 89 years. In that time Parklane has made more than 1 million mattresses, tens of thousands of those are still in use today.

Originally located on the eastside of Portland we have outgrown our factory space multiple times in the last nine decades. Our previous facilities have included several well-known buildings on the eastside, a visit to the country in Damascus, and now our state of the art facility in Tualatin.

The first part to the Parklane Better Sleep Secret is that every mattress we offer in our mattress showrooms is a premium quality product that is offered at a price dramatically below other retailers. How do we do it?

Unlike the other big mattress stores (the Country, the World, or the Mart) Parklane owns the mattress factory, the mattress showroom and eliminates the reseller markup that all of these other stores must charge. At Parklane's mattress showrooms you can buy many of our mattress models at the very same wholesale price that the big chain mattress stores used to purchase from us.

We stopped selling to the big mattress stores as they lost their focus on offering a quality mattress and became notorious for making mattress shopping tedious with non-stop sales gimmicks, pricing tricks, and high pressure sales. At Parklane we knew we could offer a better mattress buying experience and a far superior product in a simple pressure free shopping environment. From that dedication in order to make purchasing a mattress from Parklane more convenient, easy and enjoyable, we have started to increase the number of our mattress showroom locations throughout the Portland area.

The second part of Parklane Mattresses' Better Sleep Secret… all mattress factories buy from the same component companies. To build Parklane mattresses, we buy from the same foam, spring and fabric companies as Sealy, Serta, Simmons and Englander. At any time we are more than happy to compare each of our mattresses and components to every other company's mattresses and components. We strive to build a better quality mattress using the higher priced quality materials even in our lowest priced mattresses. What also sets Parklane's mattresses apart from other company's mattresses is that we have eliminated the middleman markup and pass those savings onto every customer. This allows you buy a higher quality mattress, with the same components as a national brand name mattress, at half the cost you would normally pay when purchasing from another company.
